The systematic erasure of black culture, being erased and not broadcast, is a slap in the face to the people who paved the way for so many years. Throughout history, black culture has been the fine print instead of the forefront where it belongs. While politicians want to make a discussion about politics, when, in reality, it is just about the historical events that happen that are trying to be covered up and not talked about, when, in all black history has always been here. The mistreatment of people of color has been going on since BC times; it has never been equal. Even now, with people with authority looking down on African American people based of there skin instead of looking beyond politics and seeing their light, potential, and personality.
