SHUT DOWN

 

Disagreements happen all the time in political parties or in basic conversations with someone. But have you ever known to disagree and can not come to a mends, then overall shut down the whole government because you couldn’t make a decision? Well, neither do I, but here we are with the U.S. Federal Government. When lawmakers can not agree, it doesn’t just fall on them, but that has to do with federal funding. Federal workers go without pay, communities are in disarray, and public services are disrupted. At this point, it is no longer about who is right or wrong, but it is about the people who rely on a functioning government. It is hard to trust a goverement who don’t even trust each other. While researching this shutdown, I came across this article that speaks more about it. Take A Look. This article talks about how the government didn’t come to a common ground because they were making a decision on taxes for lower-class and upper-class people. Which should’ve resulted in a common conclusion, but in the end, it didn’t
