SHUT DOWN

 

Disagreements happen all the time in political parties or in basic conversations with someone. But have you ever known to disagree and can not come to a mends, then overall shut down the whole government because you couldn’t make a decision? Well, neither do I, but here we are with the U.S. Federal Government. When lawmakers can not agree, it doesn’t just fall on them, but that has to do with federal funding. Federal workers go without pay, communities are in disarray, and public services are disrupted. At this point, it is no longer about who is right or wrong, but it is about the people who rely on a functioning government. It is hard to trust a goverement who don’t even trust each other. While researching this shutdown, I came across this article that speaks more about it. Take A Look. This article talks about how the government didn’t come to a common ground because they were making a decision on taxes for lower-class and upper-class people. Which should’ve resulted in a common conclusion, but in the end, it didn’t

Living In Fear

  As recent events have shown, people are scared for their safety and well begin the reason why is that there are attacks every day. One major event is the cartels. This has to do with a multitude of things; my main point is safety and how ICE cares about undocumented individuals who are just living their lives day by day, instead of caring about the sex trafficking, misuse of drugs, and the whole dynamic of the cartels as a whole. The violence from the cartels in recent times is really frightening the american scarying the american people, as it is because of the burning down of homes, communities destabilized, and kidnapping targeting American people who are just traveling for a vacation but end up in a scary situation by being captured by the cartels. Why Not Be Free?

 Health care is often the top conversation in the U.S., the reason why is that people debate over cost, government involvement, and insurance. But when looking beyond politics, it’s about making a way for people to be treated with care, support, and love. Health care is not just about having to saving someone's life, but it is also about being present. By being present, I mean that every patient deserves to be treated with equal care as soon as they walk into the medical clinic. Just because someone does not have the financial compensation does not mean that they should be treated any differently. A person's finances should never dictate how someone is going to treat them. Health care professionals are not only required to treat them physically but also to demonstrate empathy and integrity.
